April 1, 2007 ICT Research Group established.

July 23, 2007 ICT Research Institute established and authorized as a specified Non-Profit Organization.

March 31, 2016 The ICT Research Association was dissolved.

April 1, 2017 The Japan Association for Informatics Education was founded.
